Very nice resort in quiet location but still very close to Pyhätunturi services. Especially the superior suite n:o 17 at the top level on the right side is amazing what comes to views to lake from the huge balcony. Bed and blankets were high quality and small kitchenette with basically all things needed but a little bit too little space for food items other than those kept in the fridge. There would be room for another cabinet instead of armchair. Sauna is very small but enough for two adults and again with very nice view from the windows. Highly recommended place!

We've stayed at Kurula for two nights, and although the restaurant was not open during our stay, we had a lovely experience. The suite was clean and provided with a sauna, which we absolutely loved. The places has a kitchinette, equiped with all we needed and the clothes drier it is surely appreciated, most likely in full season when the resort is open for ski. The terrace is superb, facing the lake and we've been extremely lucky to spot the Aurora from the balcony as well as at the front of the hotel. Communication was really smooth thanks to Daria, who also recommended a couple of options for dining, and the check in / check out smooth as well. |The hotel is close to a local supermarket / fuel station and about 20km away from the Amethyst mine in Luosto. |We've also managed to find another great spot to see the aurora, driving around the lake via Pyhäjärvi, road 9621. There are portions of the road without street light, which made the experience unforgetable, but of course, this required a car. We would surely return to Kurula when vising Lapland again. Highly recommend!

Stayed here and had great views of the northern lights. Nice and clean. Plenty of room. Left something very important in the room and the staff went above and beyond to deliver it to me despite being hours away!! Super grateful and would highly recommend 🙂

Kurula's resort has been a beautiful experience! The suit at the ground floor was amazing, everything was wonderful, the bathroom, the sauna, the lights in the room, there was everything we need. The window with the view was super! The staff at the reception really nice and helpfully.||We didn't use the restaurant but it was a pity because it was wonderful inside, with a beautiful view.

Great place to stay. It's modern, clean and the staff always able to help or give advice. The suite was spacious, well presented, clean and included kitchen and sauna. There's also bookable private outside jacuzzi & sauna with an option to dip into a freezing cold lake if you dare. The restaurant on site is serving breakfast in the morning as well as a'la card menu in the evening.

We really enjoyed our stay at Kurula's.|The staff was very nice and accommodating, we could communicate before our arrival (about arrival time and arrangements) and during our stay (they gave us some tips for a little hike).|We booked a table for dinner at the bistrot and really enjoyed our meal.|The room was spacious, spotless clean and we loved the sauna and the bed which was really comfortable.|We even got to see the northern lights from our room ! |Breakfast is the only thing that could be better: there is not enough space for everyone to move around the buffet, and the choice of products is a bit poor compared to other hotels or resorts.

Beautiful resort. I was in loved with every single detail of it. The room was amazing, we cooked, used the sauna, heating was perfect, we were able to see the northern lights from the bed, nature was breathtaking. Staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful with any questions. We will be back

The staff from the get go where extremely friendly and super helpful. My wife and I are pure vegetarian (don't have meat or egg) and the restaurant chef cooked us a meal to accommodate that!||The suite itself is spacious and has all the essential cooking items you need. The added sauna in the suite is really nice to be able to use and relax.||The scenery out from the suite is beautiful as you can see the lake. There's only around 20 suites there so it is a really nice and quiet resort.||Having the restaurant there is really convenient when you decide you don't want to cook or if you want to have breakfast. ||Overall would highly recommend staying here especially as the suites are of high quality.
