If you choose to stay there, keep in mind this is a house in the middle of nowhere, the nearest food store is in 15 km in Kustavi city center. That's not a problem if you are coming by car. But we've been on a few days cycling trip, pretty tired by the time we got to the place, and just wishing to take a shower and go to bed. It is one of very few options of overnighting in Kustavi, and on the date we've been planning to be there everything else was fully booked. ||||We booked the private room for 2 people with shared bathroom and paid 90 eur, which is definitely too much for such an accommodation. We've been staying there on Midsummer Day, on which a big celebration takes place in Finland, so this fact might be partly the reason of our impressions. ||||The house was dirty. And I mean really dirty. The shower drain was full of hair and some leaves or small branches, and there was a big spider in the bathroom. There were problems with a tap and switching on the warm water seemed almost impossible. We knew the bathroom will be shared, but it appeared to be shared with everybody in the premises including the house owner's guests. There were quite many guests, and not all of them were friendly. One of the guests was exercising some knife tricks in the living room, which had the common door with our room. At midnight when we've been trying to get some sleep, somebody started to put knives back to the chest of drawers, which as we found out in the morning was located next to our door. At night it sounded like somebody is trying to get into our room.||||The room was dusty, and it was clear nobody vacuumed there for a long time. The bed sheets are not included in the price, so we had our own, and we were really happy to use them as everything else seemed not very clean. Some of the decorations in the room looked pretty scary from our point of view. ||||The breakfast was not included, and we were aware of it, but on booking.com it is mentioned they sell ecoloical food and have a summer cafe on the site. Nothing was suggested to us in the morning. When we asked to get just some water, the answer was that water from the tap is not that good, so we need to go to Kustavi city center to get something to drink and eat. Again, 15 km by bicycle and by car is a different thing, especially when you cannot get even water. The owner/manager acted a bit strangely as if she would have had a hangover. ||||Good things about the place: it is eco-oriented, surrounded by pure nature, nice animals on the territory, big room, high ceiling. We arrived at 11 pm (we've informed the owner beforehand) and checked in without problems.||||It would have been more or less acceptable if the owners are couchsurfing. But they are actually taking money for basically providing just the beds, nothing more.
