Kaksi kokemusta: ekalla kerralla söin todella hyvän shiitake donburin, joka oli täynnä makua, shiitakesieni oli tehty ihanaksi. Toiselle kerralle oli kovat odotukset, mutta jouduin pettymään todella pahasti: kana-tonkatsu oli lähes mauton annos. Seuralaisella sama kokemus possu-tonkatsusta. Misokeitto edelleen herkullista.

Well this place was a... experience! We had great hopes after reading all the reviews. Sad to say the place did not live up to the expectations!

Great location in the heart of Turku, but the place is located on 2nd floor and finding the right door is a bit tricky to find.

First appearence of the place is pretty cosy, but a bit shabby. Glassware and cutlery were dirty. There is a open kitchen, butt don't look there you might lose your appetite.

I had Shougayaki and my wife had Udon and onigiri. Food itself was actually pretty tasty, considering that everything went through microwave!
Miso soup was best I've ever had.

とても素敵なお店です。レストランというより食堂。日本の家庭料理が食べられます。オーダーしたのは、照り焼きチキン。フツウに美味しかったです。お味噌は日本から取り寄せているとのことで、お味噌汁が苦手な私でも美味しく頂きました。そして何よりオーナーやすこさんの心遣いがうれしい。今回、初めてフィンランドを訪れたので、トゥルクの街やフィンランドでの暮らしなど様々なことを教えて頂きました。普段の旅では、日本食を食べない私ですが、ここは立ち寄って本当に良かったです。ありがとうございました😊
※ちなみに写真のご飯（米）は、通常の半分の量です。

Kasvis ja kala vaihtoehdot rajalliset. Jälkimmäisiä ei lainkaan. Palvelu on ystävällistä ja ruoka tulee kivasti aseteltuna nopeasti pöytään. Valitettavasti itse ruoka jättää toivomisen varaa. Annokset ovat pieniä ja hinta/laatu ei kohtaa. Myös astiat olivat likaisia ja tarjoilukulhoista lohkeili maali. Sijainti mitä mainioin keskellä Turun keskustaa. Pettymys vaikka odotuksia ei suuremmin ollutkaan.

Having spent 8 years in Japan, exploring all 47 prefectures, we recently moved to Turku and decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the high standards we've experienced in Japan. It was what would Japanese say “maamaa” nothing special/below average. The lady lacked the warmth typically associated with Japanese grandmas, and at 20 euros per person, it felt like a bit of a letdown since it was really expensive. A more welcoming atmosphere and friendlier service would have improved our overall experience.

It was the true Japanese restaurant! The owner is a Japanese lady and she welcomes you like at home. She cooks true Japanese food which you can have at home in Japan. I was there with small children and they enjoyed a lot.
If somebody wants to try true Japanese food or Japanese hospitality, this restaurant is for you.

とっても優しい、フレンドリーなおかみさんの美味しい家庭料理を堪能できます。揚げたてのサクサクの天ぷら、美味しかったです！
日本にいるかのような懐かしい感じを覚えました。
子連れにもとても優しくしていただきました。
Turkuに来たら絶対にまたここを訪れたいです。
日本人も日本人でない人にもおすすめです！！

The rice was microwaved, and the sauce served with the fried chicken tasted bitter and rancid. The meat was freshly fried though, but still nothing special. Quality doesn't match the price (18e), will not be returning.

Microvawed, salty, dry and with dirty dishes and cutlery. Scam-tier pricing. Lovely atmosphere. Would not recommend though.
